Dr. Iskandar Mirza Bin Amran is a Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Institut Jantung Negara and Internal Medicine Physician with an MBBS from Universiti Teknologi MARA and MRCPI qualification from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland. With a background in internal medicine from multiple Malaysian hospitals, Dr. Iskandar has developed expertise in cardiology, cardiovascular risk reduction, and related clinical areas. An active member of both the Malaysian Society of Hypertension and the National Heart Association, he has been deeply involved in cardiovascular risk reduction clinics, medical education, and webinar platforms dedicated to advancing clinical knowledge. His research interests focus on significant cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, myocardial infarction, and cardiovascular complications, with contributions through medical education speaking engagements and numerous publications on cardiovascular health and disease prevention in newspaper and radio formats, ensuring broad dissemination of evidence-based information.
