Dato' Wira Dr. L.R. Chandran is a senior consultant physician and professor of internal medicine at MAHSA University Malaysia, bringing over 40 years of clinical and academic experience in internal medicine practice and medical education throughout Malaysia. Holding MBBS from Monash University and multiple fellowships from the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom, Edinburgh, London, and Glasgow, as well as Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia, he has established himself as a leading figure in his field. As council member of the College of Physicians Malaysia (2024-2026), he continues to shape professional standards and development. A Colombo Plan Scholar with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and medical leadership, he has made extensive contributions to medical education and the professional development of future physicians throughout his distinguished career.
