Dr. Beh Hooi Chin is a Primary Care Medicine Specialist at University Malaya Medical Center with an MBBS from University Malaya and a Master in Primary Care Medicine (MFamMed). Specializing in family medicine, primary care, and hypertension management, Dr. Beh has built an extensive career focused on health screening and prevention medicine. She is an accomplished educator and public health advocate, regularly engaging with the community through radio programs, webinars, and organized health screening campaigns. As an active researcher and mentor in family medicine training programs, Dr. Beh has contributed over 20 peer-reviewed publications to prestigious journals including BMJ Open, PLOS One, and the Hypertension Research Journal. Beyond her clinical and research work, she serves as an active member of the Malaysian Society of Hypertension and the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia, and currently holds the position of co-investigator on a RM5 million NIHR Global Health Research Unit project focused on respiratory health.
