Dr. Faiz Mashood is a cardiology fellow at Institut Jantung Negara with training in cardiology and internal medicine, holding MBBS from University Malaya, MRCPI, and a Master of Medical Science in Cardiology. He has accumulated seven years of progressive medical and cardiology experience, progressing through house officer positions in various departments including internal medicine (2017-2020) to registrar and clinical specialist roles in cardiology at UMMC (2022-2024). His research contributions include six publications in ISI journals and three in SCOPUS/non-ISI journals, alongside numerous presentations at national and international conferences including NHAM Conference, TCTAP, and other international forums. His research interests focus on cardiac complications, ECG risk assessment in heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome management, demonstrating a commitment to advancing clinical knowledge in cardiology practice.
