Professor of Family Medicine and Consultant Clinical Specialist at Universiti Putra Malaysia, specializing in family medicine, hypertension, and public health.
Prof Dr. Ching Siew Mooi is a Professor of Family Medicine at Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Consultant Clinical Specialist at the university, combining extensive clinical expertise with strong research output in family medicine, hypertension, and public health. With postgraduate qualifications in family medicine, Prof Ching has established a prolific research career featuring over 138 publications with a Scopus h-index of 25, while collaborating on numerous research projects, grants, and awards at national and international levels. Her collaborative work spans Asia, Europe, and the UK, and she has been recognized as one of the top 2% scientists globally based on the Stanford Report 2021. At the organizational level, Prof Ching serves as a committee member of the International Society of Hypertension's Women and Hypertension Division and the Hypertension core group of the Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She has supervised multiple PhD and Masters students, completing four Masters programs without thesis and numerous PhD candidates, while receiving multiple publication and research awards in 2021.
