Prof Dr. Chee Kok Han is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, with 25+ years of expertise in cardiology and internal medicine. Graduating with his MBBS from Universiti Malaya in 1995 and completing his MMED in Internal Medicine in 2002, Prof Chee has held key leadership roles including Head Coordinator for Primary PCI for STEMI at Klang GH-UMMC since 2015 and Head Coordinator of the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya since 2013. As principal investigator for major international pharmaceutical trials, he has produced extensive publications on cardiac imaging, atrial fibrillation, and anticoagulation therapy in Asian populations. His academic contributions include co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications on cardiovascular outcomes and acute care management, serving as consulting investigator for major multicenter trials including RELY, MODIFY, and EMPA-REG OUTCOME studies, and supervising PhD and Master's level students in cardiology.
