Prof Yan Li (MD, PhD) is a Professor and Researcher in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Shanghai Institute of Hypertension, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, China. She is recognised for identifying isolated nocturnal hypertension as a clinical entity and proposing the ambulatory arterial stiffness index. She has established web-based ambulatory and home blood pressure monitoring reporting systems used in clinical practice and multi-centre research across China, with nearly 20 years of experience in hypertension research.
